By accessing or using Learnica (learnica.online), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Learnica. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Learnica is an AI-powered educational software platform that provides digital learning tools, study support, and personalised AI tutoring for students and self-directed learners. All tutoring and educational assistance is delivered through automated AI technology — no human instructors or human-driven tutoring services are involved.
We offer the following subscription tiers:
- Free: Limited access to study topics and AI tutor questions at no charge.
- Pro ($12/month): Unlimited access to all features and subjects, billed monthly.
- Teams ($8/seat/month): Multi-seat access for groups, minimum 5 seats, billed monthly.
3. Account Registration
To access paid features, you must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for:
- Keeping your login credentials confidential.
- All activity that occurs under your account.
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use at support@learnica.online.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
- Submit content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or copy any part of the platform or its AI models.
- Circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security features of the service.
- Use the service to generate content for academic fraud or misrepresentation.
- Share your account credentials with others (Teams subscribers must use individual seats).
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these provisions without prior notice.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Billing is handled by Paddle, our merchant of record, which is responsible for collecting payment and issuing receipts on our behalf.
By subscribing, you authorise Paddle to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are displayed in USD and may be subject to applicable taxes collected by Paddle.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain full access to paid features until that date. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
7. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. New subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of their first payment. Subsequent billing periods are non-refundable.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, logos, and materials on the Learnica platform are owned by or licensed to Learnica and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written permission.
Content you submit to the platform (your questions, notes, and study inputs) remains yours. By submitting content, you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of delivering the service.
9. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Learnica uses AI technology to generate educational explanations and tutoring responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or omissions. You should verify important information through authoritative sources. Learnica is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Learnica shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or revenue, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Learnica operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
